Getting in shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can achieve. As personal trainers, we believe in finding the pleasurable side of fitness, and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the amount of fun and levels of energy you will experience will far exceed the discomfort.
In order to get where you are going, you have to know where you are. The intake process provides a solid-unbiased understanding of where you’re starting from in regards to your body composition and health as well as your strength and movement capacity. Over the course of 5 sessions we take you through:
A biosignature modulation: A Biosignature is a twelve site skinfold caliper test which will give us your lean body mass, fat mass, and some insight into specific hormonal pathways represented by the different sites.
A nutrition consultation and protocol based off of your numbers and goals.
3 strength training sessions to diagnose any imbalances and get you moving right. During the sessions we take a look at all of your compound lifts; testing your max strength and capacity.
Front Squat/ Split Squat*
*these exercises are of course subject to modification based on each individuals needs/ interest/ potential limitations.
And an exit biosignature 2-weeks after to assess progress and make adjustments.
This is perfect for everyone; novices and experts alike. Not only is it a great introduction into what we do here at The TOP Strength Project but it is a great tool to create direction in your programming and the next step in your training. The intake process is $299.
***$399 for non-members***

Great atmosphere, even better people guiding you every step of the way. There's never a dull moment and never lack of serious knowledge.
Anyone would be lucky to have Steve Tripp, Vanessa Serio, and John Amore as coaches.
I have been a member of The TOP Strength Project since December 2015, about a month and a half before it officially opened in January of 2016. I train with Steve one on one twice a week. I get measured, for body comp once a month by John, and receive nutritional guidance from both John and Vanessa. I also come into the gym another two to three times a week to work out on my own or with other TSP clients and enjoy participating in some of their events and group classes they hold throughout the year.
Since I’ve worked with a trainer previously I knew what I wanted when I first came into The TOP Strength Project, someone/someplace to help maintain good health, further and always challenge me, push my limits, get results, learn new things and hopefully find a new permanent gym home. I have Multiple Sclerosis so exercise and nutritional education is extremely important to me, my neurologist has even told me “your lifestyle has basically cured your MS” so having the right health program is literally saving my life. I started training one on one with Steve once a week at first, but soon went to twice a week because I loved the challenge, the intensity and the new correct ways of learning to lift. You have to squat ass to grass or it doesn’t count! I came into the gym at 15.5% body fat and 145lbs, in a year I have gained 7lbs HOWEVER lost 2% body fat, now weighing 152lbs and I’m down to 13.5% body fat. I feel healthy, strong and lean. In additional I have met a great group of people, clients and trainers. It’s a fun, motivational atmosphere!
There are a couple of things that make TOP Strength a very different kind of gym. First is the people. The trainers Steve, Vanessa, John, Ken and Adam are all great and so helpful. Yes, I train one on one with Steve and I love how I feel and my results however that doesn’t stop any of the other trainers from helping out or offering their advice and/or corrections(I need to be reminded often of what not to do, J) I love that John will show an Olympic move step by step, Vanessa has given me advice on food, even recipes and I now know how to stretch the correct way, Ken adjusts my deadlift form when I’m training on my own and Adam taught me how to press the weighted log over my head. Everyone is part of my progress not just my trainer Steve. The second big difference for me is my training membership allows me to use the gym and all the fun equipment anytime on my own. Previously, I’ve trained with another trainer at another gym and I wasn’t allowed to use the equipment without a trainer which really sucked and made progress a challenge. Not here, they keep you on track even when you are doing your own workouts, which is fantastic motivation to come workout on days I’m not training with Steve one on one.
