Ryan Horton

Ryan began his fitness journey shortly after the opening of The TOP Strength Project in 2016. Under the guidance of longtime friend and owner Steve Tripp, Ryan quickly gained an attraction for strength sports. Powerlifting became a passion that has been a large part of his development throughout his training career. And after 8 years of competing, Ryan has accumulated several state records in the USPA Rhode Island federation.

- Current state record for 75kg open class squat and overall total.

- Current state record for 75kg submaster class squat and overall total.

- Current state record for 82.5kg submaster class squat, bench, deadlift and overall total.

In late 2020, Ryan had a desire to share his knowledge and experience with others and began studying to become a certified personal trainer. He was certified in 2021 through the American Council on Exercise. Since then, he has also become a certified Sports Performance Specialist, also through the American Council on Exercise. Ryan currently works with a wide array of client types, ranging from general fitness to competing powerlifters, and everything in between.
